The Farniente Festival takes place on Plage de Monsieur Hulot in Saint-Nazaire, an open-air setting suited to unconventional listening. Organized since 2007 by the association Le Sens du Poil, it presents a free program of improvised and experimental music in a deliberately stripped-down setting, atypical among contemporary music festivals.
