The Académie musicale internationale Maurice Ravel, founded in 1967 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, brings together young classical musicians each summer for masterclasses with well known soloists. The accompanying festival offers concerts in venues across the Basque Country, a stage that has featured laureates who went on to notable careers, including cellist Gautier Capuçon.
