About
Cultura Nova is an international multidisciplinary festival held every year in late August in Heerlen and the surrounding Limburg region of the Netherlands. Founded in 1991, it presents over 200 theatre, dance, music and visual art performances across roughly ten days, spread across numerous unconventional venues throughout the city rather than a single festival site. Each edition draws tens of thousands of visitors with a mix of local and international creations.
