Festival de l'Académie Internationale des Heures Romantiques

Founded in 1997 by baritone Udo Reinemann, this festival ran for twenty five years at the Saint André church in Château Renault, in the Touraine region, before ending in 2022. Devoted to lied and romantic art song, with works by Brahms, Schubert, Mahler and Tchaikovsky, it also served as a springboard for young singers. The association now continues through an annual commemorative concert.
