Festival de la Clarté Dieu

The Festival de la Clarté-Dieu is held in the remarkable setting of the former Cistercian abbey of La Clarté-Dieu, in Saint-Paterne-Racan, in the Touraine region. Over several days in summer, it presents a varied classical music program mixing vocal recitals with major works of the repertoire. The abbey, founded in the 13th century, also hosts other musical events such as the Clartés Musicales festival, dedicated to jazz and world music.
