Festival de musique ancienne à Maguelone

This early music festival takes place in the cathedral of Maguelone, a twelfth century Romanesque building standing alone on a headland between the sea and coastal lagoons near Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone. Founded in the early 1980s, it is sponsored by Jordi Savall and gathers ensembles specialising in medieval, renaissance and baroque repertoire, such as Hespèrion XXI and Doulce Mémoire.
