Festival de Musique en Albret

Founded more than thirty five years ago by Jacques Castérède, the Festival de Musique en Albret spreads its programme across Nérac, Barbaste and several other towns in the Lot-et-Garonne. It is now under the artistic direction of cellist François Salque and brings together classical repertoire, contemporary music, improvised music and world music. Each summer season gathers around a dozen concerts with well-known names from the music scene, balancing prestige with discovery.
