Overview
About
Founded in 1968 by flutist and conductor Kurt Redel with his friend Georges Loustalot, the Lourdes International Festival of Sacred Music takes place each spring in the sanctuary's landmark venues, including the Basilica of the Rosary and the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. It brings together international performers around early and sacred music repertoire, alongside free concerts given by young regional artists. It stands as one of France's major sacred music events.
