Festival de Verão de Salvador

Held in Salvador, in the state of Bahia, this summer music festival traditionally takes place in January, often at the Parque de Exposições, and receives extensive television coverage on the Globo network (Gshow). Its lineup brings together Bahian and national artists around axé, pagode, forró and Brazilian pop, often featuring surprise guests and on-stage collaborations.
