About
The Festival de Verão Salvador takes place each January in Salvador da Bahia. Launched in 1998 to mark the city's 450th anniversary and organized by Bahia Eventos (part of the Rede Bahia group), it has now reached its 25th edition, making it one of Brazil's longest-running and most popular music festivals. Its lineup blends forró, MPB, axé and pagode, bringing together generations of iconic Bahian and Brazilian artists.
