Festival des randonnées musicales du Ferrand

Founded in 1999 in the Ferrand valley in the Oisans massif (Isère), this itinerant festival links the villages of Besse, Clavans and Mizoën, pairing concerts with mountain hikes. Audiences settle on alpine meadows or gather in churches and refuges for an eclectic lineup (rock, folk, world music, reggae, funk, electro swing), mostly free and often followed by shared meals. The family atmosphere and the high-mountain, glacier-facing setting make the event distinctive.
