Festival du Haut-Limousin

Founded in 1999, the Festival du Haut-Limousin is held every summer around the Ferme de Villefavard in Haute-Vienne, whose barn-turned-auditorium is known for its remarkable acoustics. The eclectic, open-to-all program spans baroque, classical, contemporary and jazz music, including walking concerts through heritage buildings and along nearby hiking trails. The festival also extends to other sites in northern Haute-Vienne, such as Mortemart and Châteauponsac.
