Festival francis poulenc

The Francis Poulenc Festival takes place in Bagnols-en-Forêt, in the Var, the village where the composer regularly stayed between 1958 and 1962 and wrote part of his work. Launched in 1984, it presents several classical music concerts, often held in the village church, paying tribute to Poulenc and composers close to him. It is run by the town and its tourist office, with support from the Communauté de communes du Pays de Fayence.
