The Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão takes place in Marvão, Portugal, in a walled town at the summit of a mountain in the Serra de São Mamede. Founded in 2014 on the initiative of Christoph Poppen, it is dedicated to classical music and offers outdoor concerts in century-old infrastructures. Its programme has included Aleksandar Madžar, Alon Sariel and the Cologne Chamber Orchestra.
