Festival international de Musique de Chambre en Charente

Founded in the early 2010s, this chamber music festival takes place in Chalais, in the Charente department, over several weeks between May and June. The programme favours intimate ensembles, string quartets and piano and strings duos in particular, and includes a young audience strand along with post concert gatherings.
