Festival international de musique de F. L. Vek

This classical music festival brings concerts to several towns in eastern Bohemia, including Dobruška, Opočno and Nové Město nad Metují. Founded in 2011, it honours František Vladislav Hek, a native of Dobruška whose life inspired Alois Jirásek's novel F. L. Věk. Performances take place in churches and historic monuments as well as more unusual venues such as industrial sites.
