About
Founded in 2005 by Hubert Wendel, the Festival International de Musique de Wissembourg is devoted mainly to chamber music and piano, staged in the heritage setting of the Nef de Wissembourg in Alsace, near the French-German border. It offers a series of daily concerts spread over two to three weeks between late August and early September, including gala evenings featuring well known artists. Pianist Julien Gernay has served as artistic director since 2024.
