Festival international de musique Saint-Georges

Held in Guadeloupe, in Petit-Bourg, this classical music festival honours the Chevalier de Saint-Georges, a composer and virtuoso violinist long overlooked by music history. Launched in 2011, it brings together Guadeloupean and international artists for symphonic concerts, recitals and talks, alongside an education strand of masterclasses and workshops for young musicians. It has grown into one of the Caribbean's major classical music events.
