Festival Internazionale di Musica Janáček di Maggio

This classical music festival, dedicated to Moravian composer Leoš Janáček, takes place in Ostrava, Czech Republic, with concerts also held in Hukvaldy, the composer's birthplace village. Organised by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, it programmes symphonic and chamber works alongside contemporary pieces, and hosts a composition competition for young talents from Central Europe.
