Festival Jean de La Fontaine

This multidisciplinary festival takes place in Château-Thierry, birthplace of fabulist Jean de La Fontaine, across some of the finest heritage sites of southern Aisne. Founded in 1991, it blends music (both instrumental and, above all, vocal), theatre, dance and visual arts inspired by La Fontaine's work. Each edition builds around a new theme, inviting audiences on an artistic journey through his era.
