Overview
About
The Festival Opéra des Champs takes place in Rouillac, in the Charente region, organized by the association culture et patrimoine du Rouillacais. It brings opera to a rural setting where the art form is rarely performed, using simple staging and modest means. The aim is to make this repertoire approachable for audiences unfamiliar with it, away from its elitist image.
