About
The Festival Organistico Santa Maria Nuova has taken place every year in Fano, in Italy's Marche region, since 1962, making it one of the country's oldest organ festivals. Concerts are held on Friday evenings in August inside the church of Santa Maria Nuova, on the Mascioni organ installed in 1959, bringing together organists from Italy and abroad. Run by the city of Fano together with the Associazione Laboratorio Armonico and the church's Franciscan friars, it received a medal from the Italian president for its sixtieth edition.
