About
Festival Verdi takes place each autumn in Parma and in Busseto, Giuseppe Verdi's birthplace, centered on the Teatro Regio and the Teatro Verdi. Founded in the 1980s, it is devoted to Verdi's operas, paired with symphonic concerts, a performance of the Messa da Requiem, and talks exploring the composer's work. Each edition is built around a theme and brings together noted singers and conductors from the Italian opera repertoire.
