Overview
About
Flanders Festival Ghent is an international classical music festival founded in 1958, unfolding each year across Ghent and the wider East Flanders region. Centred on a demanding classical repertoire, it is also willing to take artistic risks and branches out into world and jazz music, featuring soloists, chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras from around the globe. Its opening is traditionally marked by OdeGand, a large free street celebration across the city.
