About
The GAIA festival takes place around Bern, Thun, and Oberhofen in Switzerland, presenting chamber music spanning several centuries of repertoire. Founded in the mid 2000s, it bills itself as the Bern region's first international chamber music festival. Each edition follows an artistic theme and is staged in venues chosen for their acoustics and architecture, bringing together established international performers and promising young talent.
