About
The George Enescu International Festival has taken place in Bucharest every other year since 1958, honoring Romania's best known composer. Devoted to classical music, it brings together world class orchestras, conductors and soloists across seven historic venues in the heart of the city, including the Romanian Athenaeum. A linked international competition runs on the intervening even years.
