GoodWaves

GoodWaves is a hip hop festival launched in 2026 by rapper MURS through Groundwaves, the community initiative he founded in 2018. The festival day is held at the Salt Shed Fairgrounds, while the two day conference takes place at Venue Six10, with free, all ages admission. The lineup pairs established hip hop artists with emerging independent talent, reflecting a focus on mentorship rooted in Chicago's local scene.
