About
Founded in 1957 by violinist Yehudi Menuhin, this classical music festival takes place across the Saanenland region in the Bernese Oberland, using the churches of Saanen, Gstaad, Zweisimmen, Lauenen, Gsteig and Rougemont alongside a large festival tent. The programme brings together orchestras, soloists and chamber ensembles, with an academy focused on training young musicians.
