About
Güldener Herbst is an early music festival in Thuringia, founded in 1999 and held alternately in Gotha and Meiningen, with a prologue concert in Weimar. Devoted to the Baroque repertoire and to music from the 16th to the 18th century, it stages its concerts in intimate historic venues and brings composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Carl Briegel back into the spotlight.
