Harpes au max

Harpes au Max takes place each spring in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon and surrounding towns in the Pays d'Ancenis, in western France. Billed as the first international harp festival, it brings together more than forty concerts spanning classical, South American and chanson repertoires, plus a music-and-circus show, alongside workshops and masterclasses. Its name nods to Harpo Marx, the silent-film star known for playing the harp, and the event is organized by the Communauté de communes du Pays d'Ancenis with harp maker Camac as a partner.
