About
Founded in the early 1970s in Bad Harzburg, in the Harz region, the Harzburger Musiktage present a classical and chamber music programme spanning baroque repertoire to contemporary works. Concerts take place mainly at Bündheim Castle, with an opening evening at the Lessingtheater in Wolfenbüttel. The festival gives a platform to young talents from the Jugend musiziert competition.
