Overview
About
Founded in 1969, the Hetta Music Festival takes place in the church of Enontekiö, in the village of Hetta in Finnish Lapland. Held during the Easter period, it combines classical and liturgical music, from medieval works to contemporary compositions, featuring traditional instruments such as the medieval harp, the Karelian jouhikko and Sami joik singing, and lets visitors pair concerts with spring skiing.
