About
The Heures musicales de Cunault take place every summer, in July and August, in Gennes-Val-de-Loire (formerly Chênehutte-Trèves-Cunault), on the banks of the Loire between Angers and Saumur. Run since 1972 by the Association des Amis de l'Orgue de Cunault, the concerts fill the Romanesque priory of Cunault and the church of Trèves, two medieval buildings prized for their acoustics. Originally centered on the organ, the programme has since widened to sacred, baroque, classical and contemporary music, with organ recitals, vocal ensembles and chamber music.
