Innsbruck Festival of Early Music

Founded in 1976, the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music (Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik) is devoted to historically informed performances of late Renaissance, Baroque and early Classical music. Its concerts, Baroque operas and oratorios are staged across roughly thirty historic venues in and around Innsbruck, bringing together emerging talents and established artists. It is now regarded as one of Europe's leading events for Baroque music.
