International Festival Imago Sloveniae – Image of Slovenia

Imago Sloveniae is one of Slovenia's largest classical music festivals, presenting dozens of concerts every summer from mid-June to late August in Ljubljana and at heritage sites across the country. Grown out of the Summer in Ljubljana Old Town festival founded in 1986, it focuses mainly on classical and early music, complemented by jazz and world music. Concerts take place in striking settings, historic squares, the castle courtyard, the Slovene Philharmonic's great hall, museums and churches, often in partnership with the national opera or the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra.
