Internationale Gluck-Opern-Festspiele

The Internationale Gluck-Opern-Festspiele are devoted to the work of Christoph Willibald Gluck, an 18th century composer regarded as a reformer of opera. The festival runs every two years in May, in historic theatres across the Nuremberg region, from Ansbach to Bayreuth via Fürth, complemented in July by concerts in Berching, the composer's birthplace.
