Internationales Musikfest HamburgOverview
About
The Internationales Musikfest Hamburg takes place in Hamburg at the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle, running for more than five weeks at the end of the season. This classical music festival brings together Hamburg's major orchestras and international guests in a programme spanning symphonic and contemporary repertoire, with artists such as Barbara Hannigan, Anne-Sophie Mutter and Sir Simon Rattle. Each edition is built around a theme, such as “Sex, Drugs & Rock ’n’ Roll”.
