Isny Opernfestival

The Isny Opernfestival has run since 1989 in this small town in the Bavarian Allgäu. Performances take place outdoors in the castle park and at the Nikolaikirche church, with the Kurhaus as a fallback venue in bad weather. The programme mixes opera, operetta and contemporary works, including a family-oriented strand and short concerts held in nearby chapels and retirement homes.
