Johan Halvorsen musikkfestOverview
About
The Johan Halvorsen Musikkfest has been held in Drammen, Norway, since 2005, founded in honour of the composer, violinist and conductor Johan Halvorsen, who was born in the city. Starting as a few concerts over two to three days, it has grown into an event where classical music meets other expressions, with concerts for children and young people. It has welcomed TrondheimSolistene and Nordic Tenors.
