Kirsten Flagstad Festival

The Kirsten Flagstad Festival is held in Hamar, Norway. First staged in 2006 at the initiative of Hamar Municipality, it focuses on the voice and is rooted in classical music, while not being exclusively an opera festival. Its concerts and performances, spread across the cathedral, the cultural centre, the Kirsten Flagstad Museum and other venues in the city, have featured works by Rossini, Mozart and Dvořák.
