Klaipėda Festival

Klaipėda Festival, organized by the Klaipėda State Music Theatre since 2021, brings together opera, dance and classical music each August at venues across the Lithuanian port city. The historic Lindenau shipyard, set between the ruins of the medieval castle and the Curonian Lagoon, serves as a striking backdrop for the festival's major productions. The event traditionally coincides with the city's birthday celebrations on August 1st.
