About
Founded in 1988, the Klavier-Festival Ruhr devotes three months each summer to classical piano, presenting established international artists alongside emerging talents. Concerts take place across several cities in the Ruhr region, in concert halls, castles, museums and repurposed industrial sites such as the Zollverein coal mine complex in Essen.
