Kristiansund Opera Festivals

Organized by Operaen i Kristiansund, the event takes place in the port town of Kristiansund, on the Møre og Romsdal coast. The company describes itself as Norway's oldest opera institution, active since 1928 and built on strong volunteer involvement. Its programming combines opera, classical music and ballet, supported by a local orchestra, the Sinfonietta.
