Kultursommer Wien

Launched in 2020 to support artists during the pandemic, Kultursommer Wien is a decentralized summer festival spread across about a dozen stages in Vienna's neighborhoods, mostly outside the historic center. Its program blends rock, pop, classical, jazz, Viennese song, cabaret, dance, theatre and contemporary circus across several hundred performances. Admission is free, making it a neighborhood-level event for residents across the city's districts.
