About
Founded in 1995 by René Martin, La Folle Journée takes place at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes and has become one of France's biggest classical music gatherings. Its distinctive format offers short concerts, around 45 minutes each, at accessible prices, performed simultaneously across many halls around a theme that changes every year. The event draws thousands of artists and audience members, with programming designed to welcome newcomers to classical music, including accessibility features for deaf attendees.
