Organized by CIRM, a national center for musical creation, the Manca festival takes place in Nice across venues including the Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur and the Conservatoire. It is devoted to contemporary and electroacoustic music, often featuring works combining voice, electronics and staged elements. Running for several decades, it also presents works from academic composition research.
