Le Rivage des voix

Created in 2015 by René Martin, the Le Rivage des voix festival is held every first weekend of June in Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, on the banks of the Loire in Maine-et-Loire. Dedicated to the voice in all its forms (opera singing, world music, sacred music), it takes over the town's heritage sites, birthplace of the writer Julien Gracq: the abbey church, the abbey auditorium, the Maison Julien Gracq and the esplanade overlooking the river.
