Les clavecins de Chartres

Run since 1999 by the association of the same name, the Clavecins de Chartres festival presents early and baroque music concerts in churches around Chartres and the surrounding region, performed on period instruments. It brings together professional musicians and students from conservatories across the Eure-et-Loir department, giving the latter a chance to perform baroque repertoire. Programs often feature composers such as Handel, Vivaldi and Bach.
