Les journees messiaen

Les Journées Messiaen form part of the programming of the association Musique Sacrée et Orgue en Avignon, formed in 2016 from the merger of several groups, including the Orgue Hommage à Messiaen association founded in 1997 in tribute to the composer, who was born in Avignon. The event brings sacred and organ music concerts to various venues around the city, spotlighting Olivier Messiaen's work alongside the wider sacred repertoire.
