Overview
About
Held every summer in Sumène, in the Gard department, this multidisciplinary festival dates back to 1998 and champions street arts alongside emerging contemporary music. Run by the Les Elvis Platinés association with a large team of volunteers, it turns the whole village into a stage, with evening concerts, parades and family shows spilling into the alleys, squares and even the local church and temple. Its strong community, do-it-yourself spirit has endured as the project expanded into circus and other disciplines.
